Hellooo Friday
It's Wine Time! What a week, survived the season's first (maybe last, I hope) ice storm and hosted a holiday gathering celebrating the flavors of Spain. (yes again, still on that Spain kick) The really good news besides that it's Friday, I have left overs from the party last night. Confession--the party was catered. The menu included two different kinds of paella, lamb tagine, tabbouleh, tapenade, hummus, baba ghanoush and lots more. The red wine we served was a great value Spanish wine, everyone loved it so much that it is GONE, no left overs there! But I do highly recommend it for parties or for an everyday wine. That popular party wine WAS a 2009 Borsao, a blend of 75% Garnacha and 25% Tempranillo. I purchased it at Wholefoods for $8.99, not bad....

Cheers to you! Sounds like you had the kind of evening I could only wish to have. It was great peeking around your site this morning - sounds like we have a lot in common. If we were neighbors, you could come over and have a glass of wine anytime!! Happy weekend...
